This last Saturday Kristen and Jack invited me to shoot their engagement session. We did the shoot just minutes from Louisville, Ky at a park and restaurant called Hubbers Farm. What a cold adventure it turned out to be. At least they had each other to keep warm. Poor 'ol me was stuck to fend for himself. (enough whining) Kristen is a school teacher who teaches autistic kids, Jack is a UK grad, and Law student in Ohio. They plan to wed this May.

Laura and Alex say "I will" at Duke University Gardens
On Sunday Laura and Alex celebrated their engagement at Duke University Gardens in Durram, N.C. The couple met in High School at detention no less. He goes to N.C. State and she goes to UNC. Watch out for these two.
The gardens are located on the campus of Duke University. The pictures below are of the magnificent Duke Chapel. In order to have your wedding there, you have to be in some way affiliated with the university and then you have to sit and wait outside the chapel administration office one year (365 days to the date) in advance. First come, first serve. Just like concert tickets or iphones. Looks like it is worth it.

Karla and Brandunn – Engagement Shoot at High Point University
After working until 3:00 a.m. Sunday morning on shots from the wedding just attended, and I met new clients Sunday at the local Panera Bread. Logan booked the new wedding and then we were off to High Point University in High Point, NC for a late Monday afternoon engagement shoot. Brandunn had been the catcher for his college baseball team and so was adamant about having his team colors displayed for some of their engagement photos. Karla didn’t seem to mind one bit…
